Sweets & Meats BBQ

This woman-owned and operated business launched in 2014 by co-founders Kristen Bailey and Anton Gaffney. Sweets & Meats specializes in smoked meats, homemade sides, and desserts made from family recipes. After starting with a tent in the parking lot of Mt. Washington Creamy Whip and later a BBQ trailer, they eventually opened their brick-and-mortar location in Avondale.
The Lil' Goodie Shoppe

Opened in 1985, Lil’ Goodie Shoppe has been serving delicious soft-serve ice cream to the community for decades. Three generations of women—grandmother, mother, and daughter—have owned and operated the shop side by side. This West Side favorite will soon open a second location in Price Hill in April 2026.
