June is an opportunity to reflect, learn, and cherish LGBTQ+ culture during Pride Month. The Cincinnati region supports Pride Month by hosting multiple different events and parades. There are also local LGBTQ+ friendly businesses you can support in June and all summer long.
If you want some ideas on how to celebrate, check out our Guide to Pride below.
Lil's Kitchen: Lil's Bagels may have closed, but Lil's Kitchen has arrived in the Roebling Point Books & Coffee Shop in Covington. Check out their Facebook page for fun events like Queer Soup Night.
Knox Joseph Distillery: Also known as OTR Stillhouse, this hot spot is a distillery, winery, and brewery all in one...with a huge outdoor patio! Click here to learn how Knox Joseph Distillery is named after Michele Hobbs' children and her story of launching this LGBTQ+ friendly business, and check out Connect Cincinnati's feature video to hear more about it.
Creative House of Art and Design: Also located in Covington, CHAD is dedicated to providing professional instruction of art in friendly and safe surroundings. It's the perfect destination for kid-friendly activities and shopping.
Tillie's Lounge: Check out this cocktail lounge and patio in the heart of historic Northside for weekly open mics, karaoke, drag shows, and even drag bingo.
Aiko's Gallery: This Dayton gallery specializes in quality Native American beading and LGBTQ+ swag. They also paint custom pet portraits and put graphics on a variety of items.
